Houston’s After Dark Super Bowl Hangout
Traveling Nightclub Adds Even More Star Power
By Jailyn Marcel //
What isn’t happening at Club Nomadic? The temporary traveling nightclub, which is being erected just for Super Bowl LI, has already filled its three-day roster with headliners such as Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, The Chainsmokers, and Sam Hunt.
Now the transient venue has partnered with LIFEWTR, PepsiCo’s new premium bottled water, for a special nightlife installment coined Art After Dark.
The event, which takes place Friday, February 3, combines music, technology, and art for a one-of-a-kind entertainment event. Art will be showcased in myriad ways including a show-stopping display of LIFEWTR water bottles embossed with artists’ original artwork. Also on hand — an audiovisual experience, which projects artwork onto Club Nomadic’s facade.
Of course, the cherry on top is the night’s headliner, pop star Bruno Mars accompanied by hip hop favorite DJ Khaled. While tickets for the duo’s Club Nomadic performance sold out in less than one minute, TicketMaster is offering secondary market tickets through its exchange program, which start at $275.
Club Nomadic also hosts the EA Sports Bowl on Thursday, February 2, which showcases EA SPORTS Madden NFL 17 and FIFA 17 tournaments between various pro-athletes. The event is followed by live performances from The Chainsmokers and country music artist Sam Hunt.
Tickets for the event go on sale Friday, January 20 at 10 am through ticketmaster.com. Prices start at $100. For ticket info, click here.
