One of downtown Dallas’ most happening hotels, The Statler made a splash when it re-emerged after renovations in 2017. The landmark building (which originally opened in 1956) was completely transformed into a luxury hotel and residences. It is the place for all things holidays, rooftop pool lounging and pure luxe encounters.
This Halloween, the boutique hotel unveils spooky experiences that will be all over social media this fall. Back by popular demand, two of The Statler’s signature events return on Halloween weekend — Scare Fare and Afterlife.
Afterlife Featuring A-Trak (Adults-Only)
This adult-only (21 and up), exclusive party will take place in the 12,000-square-foot Statler Grand Ballroom on Friday, October 29.
Hardly recognizable, the Ballroom will be transformed into a lively, Halloween-themed space for the hotel’s marquee after-dark event, Afterlife. What Halloween party would be complete without costumes? The most creative costumes are encouraged, and you can bet renowned international club DJ and remix artist A-Trak will be donning a Halloween ensemble.
A-Trak is known for incorporating highly technical turntable skills and scratching into his genre-spanning work, and plans to keep the tunes bumping the entire night. Also opening the night is Dallas favorite, DJ Zillamatic, at 8 pm. The frightful fun will electrically run the night until 2 am.
Early bird pricing is available, as well as VIP entry and tables. To reserve tickets to Afterlife, or learn more, visit here.
Scare Fare for the Whole Family
The second annual Scare Fare at The Statler, a trick-or-treat experience for both adults and children, returns on Saturday, October 30.
Making All Hallows’ Eve even spookier this year, this event takes place between 11 am to 4 pm. At check-in, you’ll receive a trick-or-treat kit with a map of all the stations on the first-floor lobby. The map leads guests through a treasure hunt for treats, meandering through each restaurant and action station setup on-site.
Children can expect candy and surprise treats, while adults are treated to libations. The trick-or-treating will lead adults on a trail called Taste of The Statler. The most anticipated cocktail is Primo’s Signature Margarita. After all, what Texas adult trick-or-treating is complete without a marg? To cap off the Scare Fare experience, Scout is hosting a full-service, Halloween-themed lunch with a la carte options, live music and, of course, games fit for all ages.
