Lombardi Family Concepts has a lot on its plate, quite literally. We are sad to see Knox-Henderson staple Sangria go — the Mediterranean tapas bar closed on Monday, January 11 — but Alberto Lombardi says a new concept taking its place could open as soon as March.
Still unnamed, it will serve Asian-fusion cuisine for lunch and dinner, with a menu from Michelin award-winning chef Richard Chen, former executive chef of Wing Lei at the Wynn Las Vegas. The restaurant will come hot on the heels of Toulouse and Taverna, which are set to open soon in Houston’s luxurious new River Oaks District.
