While we haven’t had the chance to escape Houston’s summer heat as yet, we’ve been traveling vicariously via Instagram, dreaming of the luxe life in Monte Carlo, lusting for the beach in Ibiza and recalling our own trip to China several years ago. Oh, you Houstonians, you know how to escape the simmering summer climate with vacations to remember.

Dominique Sachse and Nick Florescu have been getting thousands of likes for their photos from the South of France while Monsour Taghdisi and Henry Richardson received kudos for helping young Cameron Taghdisi with his Mandarin by spending loads of time exploring China.

Undoubtedly the most glamorous trip of the season was Phoebe and Bobby Tudor‘s jaunt to London and to Paris. After taking us through the art galleries of London, the duo and daughter Caroline headed to Paris where they attended a special dinner, the photos from which lit up the Internet. “Fabulous dinner at the Palace of Versailles for the #americanfriendsofversailles honoring David Rockefeller,” Phoebe wrote. “Totally glam, and ending with amazing fireworks over the world-famous gardens.”
