Kate Upton Enjoys Ultimate Houston Birthday Party — Red Bikini and Dom Perignon on a Farm
Upton's Husband, Justin Verlander, and Her Besties Celebrate Her With Sweet Style

Everything’s bigger in Texas — including Kate Upton’s super-sized birthday party. The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and wife of Houston Astros ace Justin Verlander enjoyed a whirlwind Houston celebration for her 27th birthday. It was a true Bayou City blow-out.
The blond bombshell and new mom went country at Goodnight Charlie’s honky-tonk, decked out in a black Western shirt and serious belt buckle. Upton hit up the Montrose hotspot with tons of friends in tow, including Amy Cole, Astros pitcher Gerrit Cole’s wife.
Bailey McCarthy, who owns home goods and lifestyle shop Biscuit Home, also made it out for the extravaganza. Her husband Peter McCarthy is a Goodnight Hospitality partner, the group behind Goodnight Charlie’s and the upcoming, itty bitty boutique Montrose Hotel.
It looks like Upton has a friend in the McCarthy’s, who own Good Thyme Farm out in Bellville. The partiers made the trek out to those secluded 80 acres to keep the celebration going. Upton even popped a bottle of Dom Perignon, clad in a red bikini top and wide-brim fedora.
Upton posted pics with Verlander and her precious seven-month-old, Genevieve. You can see bold yellow flower arrangements spelling out “Kate” on the porch. (Verlander will make his first start since his wife’s birthday on Wednesday night against the Milwaukee Brewers at Minute Maid Park.)
The birthday fun didn’t end on the Verlander’s porch. A surprise fireworks show was in order — plus crispy pizzas from the imminent Goodnight Hospitality concept Rosie Cannonball.
It would be too much to hope that Upton reenacted her now-iconic Cat Daddy dance. But hey, we don’t know what went on behind closed doors — and she was wearing a red bikini, after all.
You could definitely say Kate Upton funked it up.
