Who doesn’t love getting a glimpse inside a beautifully designed River Oaks home? The American Society of Interior Designers Texas Gulf Coast Chapter (ASID TXGC) debuts the stunning 2019 River Oaks Show House this Friday, June 14.

This year’s event chairs Cheryl Baker, CDB Interiors; Grace Lee Hofer, Circa Lighting; and Lilly Powell, Kirby and Z Interior Design, recruited an impressive roster of top-ASID talent: 21 designers have crafted inspiring rooms. Two top trade sources generously came in as sponsors: Circa Lighting provided light fixtures and The Shade Store provided window coverings for the home.

The home, located at 2104 Chilton Road, was designed by Ryan Gordon of Gordon Partners and built by Welch Builders & Brokers. The classic 6,886-square-foot home features a slurried brick exterior, limestone entry, slate roof, and copper gutters.

An exterior brick garden wall features a unique pattern inspired by a nearby John Staub home. Inside is just as luxurious, with large formals downstairs, a wine cellar, game room, fitness area, media room, five bedrooms including an expansive master suite, and a large veranda.

Even better? The home is for sale for $3.9 million.

The showhouse is open 10 am to 5 pm on Thursdays and Fridays and 11 am to 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays through June 30. Tickets are available in advance online here and are $25 for ASID members, $30 for non-members, and $15 for youth 15 and under.
