Ariana Grande’s Future Husband Enjoys an Impromptu Romp Through Houston
Pete Davidson is Hanging Out in River Oaks

Pete Davidson may be the luckiest man alive. He’s told Jimmy Fallon as much himself. After all, this Saturday Night Live cast member who reminds no one of George Clooney, in either looks or bank account, is engaged to Ariana Grande.
In fact, one could argue that Davidson and Grande are the It Celebrity Couple of the Moment, the one that almost everyone feels good about.
It’s hard not to root for this guy. And Davidson does not appear to be full of himself either. He spent time in Houston this weekend, supporting comedy mega stars and friends Dave Chappelle and Jon Stewart on their tour.
Davidson hung back stage with Chappelle, Stewart and DJ Trauma at the Smart Financial Centre Friday night. While in town, Ariana Grande’s future husband also hit River Oaks District for some shopping.
Because… why not? Every celebrity who visits Houston seems to roll through River Oaks District these days. Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott enjoyed a date worthy spree there a few weeks ago.
Davidson went solo in his River Oaks adventure, popping into Oliver Peoples, the designer glasses store. Wearing a simple yellow Telluride Colorado sweatshirt and black pants, the comic happily posed with a few salespeople.
The 24-year-old Davidson’s been through plenty in his young life. His firefighter father died in the 9/11 terror attacks while trying to help others in the towers. Davidson was only seven years old at the time. This is someone who knows to count his blessings.
And he certainly seems to be counting them with Grande.
“I feel like I won a contest,” Davidson told Fallon when asked about getting engaged to the mega pop star. “So sick. It’s fucking lit, Jimmy.”
His impending wedding (and by all indications, it could happen sooner rather than later) to Grande has certainly raised Davidson’s celebrity profile. But this chill character doesn’t seem to care.
Pete Davidson is still going to go out, hang out and shop where he wants to. After all, some spots are a good place to be — with or without Ariana Grande.
Live from Houston… that’s always a good call.
