Dallas weekends are packed full of events, but how many of them are truly worthy of your time? PaperCity‘s new events calendar offers a curated look at all of the best things to do in North Texas. But everyone can still use an expert.

PaperCity‘s Weekend Expert Megan Ziots culls our calendar for your must dos in this regular weekly series. Posty Fest 2o19, a 75 variation taco festival, and the biggest food & wine festival of the year all take place this weekend.

Renoir at the Kimbell

Just opened this week at Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth, Renoir: The Body, The Senses is the first major exhibition ever to focus on Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s lifelong treatment of the nude. The exhibition provides new perspectives about Renoir’s stylistic trajectory through the lens of the singular subject, and reconsiders his evolution from Realism into luminous Impressionism, and ultimately modern classicism.

Open until January 26, the exhibit includes about 60 paintings, drawings, pastels and sculptures by Renoir as well as works by his predecessors, contemporaries and followers. The roster of loans include Boy with a Cat (1868, Musée d’Orsay), Study: Torso, Effect of Sun (c. 1876, Musée d’Orsay), Seated Bather (c. 1883–84, Fogg Museum, Harvard Art Museums), and The Bathers (1918–19, Musée d’Orsay).

Tickets are free for members and cost $18 for non-members.
