It’s the biggest ball of the summer: the Reunion Lawn Party at Reunion Tower is returning for its fourth year this Saturday, June 23 from 6:30 to 10 pm. The family-friendly event transforms the lawn beneath the Dallas landmark into a gigantic backyard block party for the evening – complete with tasty food, fun games, and live entertainment.

Of course, the best part is the stunning view of Downtown Dallas.

“Reunion Lawn Party has quickly established itself as one of Dallasites’ favorite summer traditions, and we’re proud to bring the fun back to the lawn of one of Dallas’ most iconic landmarks in 2018,” Dusti Groskreutz, president of Reunion Tower, says in a statement.

This year’s Reunion Lawn Party will include a variety of eats from 10 food trucks, as well as sweets from newly-opened dessert bar Baldo’s Ice Cream. The Hyatt Regency Dallas, which is next door to Reunion Tower, will also join the culinary lineup for the first time.

As far as entertainment, 2018 is set to be bigger and better than ever. The lawn party is partnering with the Texas Rangers for the first time, so expect a festive lawn takeover from the MLB team. Emerald City Presents: Limelight Band will keep the party moving and grooving throughout the evening, but the most intriguing entertainers will be of the four-legged variety.

The lawn party is introducing Armadillo Races this year – yes, that’s right, the official animal of the Lone Star State will be racing its brethren. Better yet, party-goers are welcome to snap a selfie with the critters.

Downtown Dallas Inc. is partnering with the lawn party again this year and will provide activations on the lawn, including hula hoop contests and backyard games.

Finally, the fun-filled bash will conclude with a special light show on “The Ball” of Reunion Tower.

Hyatt Regency will host the official after-party in its hotel bar, Monduel’s, for guests who are ready to bring the party inside.
