Snoop Dogg Cannot Stop Talking About Houston’s Monster Turkey Legs: Rap Legend Finds a New Favorite Restaurant in Intense Bayou City Visit

BY // 10.11.18

Snoop Dogg hit a Houston cult classic and showed it some major love on social media. Snoop dropped praise — like it’s hot — all over The Turkey Leg Hut on Instagram.

The legendary rapper came to the Bayou City for a performance of his stage play, Redemption of a Dogg. It looks like he showed off his sensitive side before checking out the massive turkey legs and sides at The Turkey Leg Hut.

It was a pretty clear endorsement — not just shouting out his kudos on his powerhouse social media channels, but encouraging Houstonians to make the trip themselves. Snoop Dogg’s 28.3 Instagram followers were treated to two images of crispy fried, stuffed turkey leg smothered in finger-lickin’ good gravy, and the following caption:

“Houston showed major luv n I wanna shout out @turkeyleg_hut_ for the delicious food. The turkey legs were it !!! Htown make sure you hit them up !!”

LeToya Luckett, Snoop’s castmate and Houston native, visited the restaurant with him. If you want to take the superstar’s advice, head over to 4830 Alemeda. It’s something of a celebrity hotspot, with Houston Rockets star James Harden a frequent visitor.

But there’s something a little extra special about a non-Houston-based megastar giving The Turkey Leg Hut a shout out. Who’d have thought turkey legs would go so well with gin and juice?
