When it comes to entertaining, Dallasite Kimberly Schlegel Whitman is a pro. She’s written books about it, speaks to it on such shows as Good Morning America and the Today Show and have you been to one of her well designed dinner parties? Divine! It’s no surprise she has a knack for gift giving too.
What is your favorite thing about the holiday season?
I love carrying on the Christmas traditions with my children that I was able to enjoy growing up. My son loves the Christmas season so much and we have fun singing carols together, decorating the tree, baking cookies and making gingerbread houses. Of course, we love our annual trip to meet the “real” Santa at NorthPark!
What is the quirkiest/most unique gift someone has given you?
Cards for Humanity — thank you Stacy and Mark McKay!
Who is the hardest person to shop for each year?
The men in my life! My dad, brother, brother-in-law and husband! I find them so incredibly hard to buy for because they are super-special to me and I want to get them something that isn’t typical or expected.
