This Small New Dallas Store Packs an Expensive (and Sparkling) Punch

When silversmith Charles Christofle founded his namesake company in 1830, the dashing Frenchman became one of the most sought-after designers in France, commissioned to work on such projects as the façade of the Paris Opera and Napoleon III’s Château des Tuileries.
The newly opened Christofle boutique at Highland Park Village may be a petite 300 square feet, but it packs plenty of polished punch, brimming with exquisite collections the historic maison is known for, including crystal, flatware, tableware, and jewelry, as well as picture frames and heirloom trinkets for children, all of which can be monogrammed.
While Christofle carries collections designed for the silversmith by Marcel Wanders, Ora ïto, Jean-Marie Massaud, and Eric Schmitt, the Christofle design studio’s latest iteration of the modernist Mood flatware set in gold ($10,000) is what catches our eye. Your tabletop just got sexier.
