WHAT: A style-forward picnic in Aspen, Colorado centered around two of Texas’ buzziest fashion brands: Dallas-based Miron Crosby and La Vie Style House.
WHERE: The Hotel Jerome lawn on the evening of Friday, July 1, 2022.
THE SCENE: Aspen’s Hotel Jerome is having a Dallas moment. It is July after all, when soaring Texas temperatures ignite a mass exodus to Colorado’s mountain towns. Just last week, the luxe, Auberge Resorts Collection hotel announced a weekend pop-up with Uchi, which has become an award-winning Texas sushi institution since debuting in South Austin. And last Friday, two of the state’s emerging fashion labels — chic cowboy boot brand Miron Crosby (which debuted a second studio in Aspen late last year) and La Vie Style House’s celebrity-loved handmade caftans — brought a little Dallas hospitality to Main Street.
An intimate group of 50 gathered for a posh picnic hosted by Aspen locals Erica Givens and Rachel Hansen, but the spirit of the event was purely Texan. Sporting Miron Crosby boots and breezy La Vie caftans (an effortless combo), guests gathered around wildflower-dotted picnic tables designed by posh Dallas party planner Missy Peck. Even Ranch Waters, arguably the unofficial cocktail of West Texas, were in attendance.

THE SEEN: Spotted enjoying a tequila toast were the founders of La Vie Style House (Lindsey McClain and Jamie Coulter) and Miron Crosby (Lizzie Means Duplantis and Sarah Means). Other invite-only guests included Aspen locals and summer-time residents including Elaine Agather, Lauren Ford, Kristin Doremus, Bradley Agather Means, Sabrina De Baets, Michelle Hobbs, Taylor Howden, Alexandra Lucie, Joo Park, Brooke Welgos Casillas, Averi Goff, and Shelby Goff.
