Six months of retail colonization by developer OliverMcMillan at al fresco shopping mecca River Oaks District has garnered 30 luxury boutiques (with more on the way) from brand behemoths Tom Ford, Dior and Hèrmes, to H&M sister store COS, sporting and lifestyle shop Saint Bernard, and the District’s first restaurant — Dallas-based French café Toulouse. A fresh list of tenants has just been added to the ever-evolving ROD roster.
The first new addition to open, in late September, is Dallas-based retailer Forty Five Ten, taking a prime 3,300-square-foot corner location across from Tom Ford and next to Toulouse café. Copper Bar, dispensing champagne and coffee, greets customers, while a sea of posh women’s, men’s, home and beauty collections, edited by women’s fashion director Taylor Tomasi Hill and menswear savant Nick Wooster, round out the store.
