Apparently the Cannes Film Festival has a problem with flats. Women were reportedly turned away from one of the gala premieres Sunday night because they were not wearing the required heels— thus spurring the onset of “Flatgate” in social media circles. In protest, we sent out a casting call for elegant understudies for the end-all, be-all stilleto.
