Dallas is getting an early taste of summer by way of Joey Wolffer, fresh in town from her home in the Hamptons.
Wolffer is bringing her curated collection of global accessories, jewelry and clothing to a pair of boutiques, beginning with a pop-up at Miron Crosby in collaboration with Mi Golondrina. Wolffer will be in town at the Highland Park Village boutique, next Wednesday, April 24 through Friday, April 26, before heading across town to Henderson Avenue, on Saturday, April 27. There, she’ll post up at Caitlin Wilson’s darling interior-design boutique for even more shopping.
Before she jetted in, we sent Wolffer PaperCity‘s Preferential Treatment questionnaire. One thing is certain: If this doesn’t make you want to book a trip to the East Coast, STAT, we don’t know what will.
Tell me about your work: I wear many hats. I am the creator of Joey Wölffer, co-owner of Wölffer Estate Vineyards & Wölffer restaurants in The Hamptons, as well as Wölffer stables. I also consult for the brand Alice and Olivia.
Where are you right at this moment: My home in Sag Harbor, New York.
The zip code you call home: 11963.
Style of residence: Eclectic. Pieces I have found on my travels, plants, and color! My favorite part of my recent move into my new home was decorating both of my daughters’ rooms. My 3 year old, Nell, has really fun floral wall paper that I’m a little jealous of.
Pajamas or in the buff: Pajamas! I always grab a pair at Monoprix (essentially French Target) when I am in Paris! They have great patterns and are so cozy.
Early or late riser: As a mom of two girls under the age of 4… very early!
Coffee or tea: Coffee: lots of milk, lots of sugar.
Morning beauty ritual: I am in love with anything and everything by Drunk Elephant. I like to keep my beauty routines as simple and as natural as possible. Also, I let my hair air dry — big time saver!
Go-to daytime ensemble: A Joey Wölffer Reworked wrap skirt and blouse ensemble and a pair of sneakers.
Ideal evening look: Vintage dress and a great pair of earrings (from Joey Wölffer).
One thing you always keep in mind when getting dressed: More is more. I love accessories and layers.
Your happy place destination: Gibson Beach in Sagaponack in the Hamptons with my family.
Store where you wish you had an unlimited charge account: BonTon! It is the best children’s store (in Paris) and I can’t help but stock up for my girls when I am there. They do have some great things for moms, too.
Items currently on your coffee table: My husband, Max, is a great photographer. Every time we take a trip he creates a photo album. We have so many amazing memories on our coffee table!
Last movie you saw: Bohemian Rhapsody.
If you weren’t in your current profession what would you be doing: I think I’d make a great criminal detective.
Secret skill: If I told you, it wouldn’t be a secret, would it?!
Guilty pleasure: Gummy bears! And dirty martinis.
