A Space-age Jellyfish Watch Shakes Up the World of Time
Glow in the Dark Marvel Just Part of MB&F’s Unconventional Line
By Lisa Collins Shaddock //
When Maximilian Büsser left his 15-year stint at Harry Winston to found MB&F (Maximilian Büsser & Friends), he didn’t seek to create a watch company. Instead, he built an “artistic concept laboratory.”
MB&F’s award-winning timepieces have been likened to three-dimensional sculpture — each with its own playfully erudite backstory.
The “Aquapod” has a spherical, space-age face that, like the jellyfish it was inspired by, glows in the dark. And, with a commitment to traditional watchmaking of the highest craftsmanship, unconventional design does not come at quality’s expense.
Eiseman Jewels in NorthPark Center, a venerable resource for the most sophisticated watch collectors, is now the exclusive MB&F retailer in Texas and one out of only five that carry the line in the entire United States.
The oldest family-owned tenant in NorthPark, Eiseman adds MB&F to its impressive selection of watch brands, continuing to ensure that Dallas is on trend — and on time.
