Dallas’ Ultimate Man Cave
A Trendy Barber Shop Creates a Cool New Boys Club
By Gabriella Bradley //
Bonafide Barber Shop has updated the age-old entity of the man cave, creating an urban escape for the modern Dallas gent. The new parlor, owned by Omar Longoria, opens on Tuesday, August 2, catering to gentlemen looking for a sharp shave while enjoying a cool beer and their favorite sports on TV.
With checkerboard floors of pomegranate red and camel beige; plush, oversized leather seating; multiple flat-screen TVs; and decor ranging from Evel Knievel motorcycle helmets to taxidermy and vintage pop art, the 1,600-square-foot shop is the ultimate boys club.
Haircuts start at $30 and include a shampoo rinse. Bonafide will be open Tuesday to Sunday.
Bonafide Barber Shop, 5420 Ross Ave., 469.235.5493.
