We’re swooning over Marchesa’s new capsule bridal collection, a glamorous collaboration with St. Regis Hotels & Resorts that debuts this month. Drawing inspiration from their many travels, Marchesa co-founders Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig sketched dress designs reflecting the unique vibes of four St. Regis destinations: Mumbai, Punta Mita, Dubai and New York.
With a pleated tulle skirt overlay atop a Chantilly lace column skirt, the Mumbai gown has an exquisite lace bodice with crystal and pearl embroidery and a hint of gold, plus beautiful Indian beading. Crafted with a beachfront wedding in mind, the tulle Punta Mita dress falls slightly off the shoulders and stuns with lace floral and threadwork embroidery, while the Dubai gown — a slim silhouette with long sleeves — embodies the modern city with rose-gold threadwork and a silk duchess satin fishtail skirt intricately beaded with crystals and pearls. Perfectly represented is Chapman’s and Craig’s town of New York, in a 1950s-era architectural design with capped sleeves and a beaded, satin cathedral train. $20,000 to $50,000.
