West Village is in for some big changes. Six new tenants are either making the move or opening their first stores in the Uptown shopping area this fall. From clothing stores and a facial studio to yoga and a CBD shop, there’s a lot of new to check out this season.

Planet Blue

Set to open later this month or early November, Planet Blue is making the move from Henderson Avenue to right in between Kendra Scott and Abi Ferrin at West Village. The bohemian style clothing store started in 1995 in Malibu and carries a variety of designer names.

AGOLDE, Flynn Skye, For Love and Lemons, Indah, Frame Denim and Show Me Your Mumu are sold in store, as well as Planet Blue’s own label, Blue Life. Created as a line of basics, Blue Life is comfortable, beachy bohemian chic. A women’s clothing and accessory store, Planet Blue also prides itself on creating style that also has concern for the earth.

CorePower Yoga

The newest CorePower Yoga location is coming to Uptown. It’ll open underneath the Canopy by Hilton Dallas Uptown by early November, bringing its intense physical workout with the mindfulness of yoga. Classes start at CorePower Yoga 1, an unheated room where you learn the basics. From there, the heat and intensity increases.

Yoga Sculpt is one of the toughest classes CorePower offers, where muscle meets yoga. Weights are involved with strength training moves.

City Naturals

Launching this fall, City Naturals will be located directly across from J. Crew on McKinney Avenue. A CBD concept, City Naturals is evolving from strictly online to brick-and-mortar retail. One of the largest trends this year, CBD became completely legal in Texas and products seem to be popping up everywhere.

Products at City Naturals range from oil tinctures and soft gel capsules to balms and pet products. The store will also offer other non CBD products such as organic candles, skin care, linens and clothing.

Nickel & Suede

Based in Kansas City, this jewelry concept is debuting its very first Texas location at West Village this fall. It’ll be located around the corner of Sephora, next to City Naturals. Nickel & Suede pioneered the first pair of classic teardrop leather earrings and has since expanded to sell cuffs, chokers and more.

The store also sells T-shirts, sweatshirts and hats. Art prints and bags are also available. All products are made in the United States.

Teasom

Next comes Teasom, an artisan ice tea store. The company’s first brick and mortar store will be located between Sephora and francesca’s. Caffeinated and decaf teas are available. Southern Breakfast, Pina Colacha and Minty Green have caffeine, whereas non-caffeinated flavors include Hibiscus Punch, Calming Potion and Rooibos Sunset.

Established in 2018, Teasom was founded by sisters Minji and Jahee. While growing up in Korea, they always drank tea instead of water. Minji eventually became a tea sommelier, while Jahee has a culinary and hospitality background. They started out at Dallas Farmers Market and are opening their first official store at West Village this fall/winter.
