What: Book signing for Ronda Carman
Where: Found, 3433 West Alabama
PC Moment: How do they do it? The glamorous ladies who entertain with amazing style and grace. Those who seem to have all the right elements in all the right places? That was the question that Carman answers in her tome Entertaining at Home: Inspiration from Celebrated Hosts (Rizzoli).
It’s great fun peeking into the dining rooms and salons of leading hosts around the country as well as a handful from Houston. Among those sharing their entertaining secrets — LynnWyatt, Caroline Harper Knapp, Sarah Eilers, Courtnay Tartt Elias, Ruth Davis and Carman herself. Add familiar names including Austin’s Carla McDonald, Dallas’ Kimberly Schlegel Whitman and New Orleans’ Julia Reed. The book is a compilation of beautiful entertaining by tastemakers from the worlds of interior design, architecture, culinary arts and society.
What better locale for celebration of the book than Found, which is brimming with home accessories, tabletop decor and must-have bibelots as well as lighting, seating, tables, books, pillows and throws?
In keeping with the festive atmosphere, Alice Blue Catering was tapped to provide party fare.
