Houston’s Most Stunning Garden Houses
Foodies, Chefs and Architecture Buffs Will Dig This ‘Edible’ Home Tour
By Matthew Ramirez //
Benefitting the Rice Design Alliance, the Nourish: Architecture and Edible Gardens tour kicks off this weekend. A tour of six contemporary houses with edible gardens, this one-of-a-kind home tour knows two things: the surefire way to the heart is through the stomach, and the kitchen is where the heart of the home is. (Although in this case, the kitchen is via edible garden.)
Chaired by Flora Yeh of Mirador Group, this intimate, sophisticated tour has the same mission of every RDA tour since its inception in 1975: to guide Houstonians through the most interesting and flourishing works of architecture, landscape and interior design.
What: 41st Annual RDA Tour: Nourish: A Tour of Architecture and Edible Gardens.
When: Saturday, April 9, and Sunday, April 10, 1 pm – 6 pm each day.
Where: Various houses in Houston.
Tariff: $35 for new members; $25 for current RDA members; $15 for students with student ID
