Knoll x Maria Cornejo
* Knoll Luxe’s Latest Collab Revealed
By Francine Ballard //
Knoll lovers now have another reason to love Knoll. For 75 years, they’ve been teaming up with celebrated architects and designers to offer a creative assortment of furniture, textiles and accessories. But lately it’s the fash pack they’ve turned to for inspiration with their Knoll Luxe textile line. Suno, Rodarte and Proenza Schouler have been their go-to’s the past few seasons- and this month they announced their most recent collab with designer Maria Cornejo.
Inspired by Cornejo’s love of rich, eclectic patterns, the collection includes four upholsteries: Metallic Gloss, Ita, Tara and Digi Velvet; and two draperies: Cloud and Big Fringe that are available to the trade only. Using a mix of modern, urban, and international influences, Cornejo and Knoll Luxe creative director, Dorothy Cosonas worked towards the goal of creating a collection that would stand the test of time. (Or at least until the next collaboration is announced.) I already have half a chaise- we all now how fast fashion turns these days.
