$3.7 Million Memorial Mansion With its Own Green Wonderland Creates Major Real Estate Buzz
Even Torrential Downpours Can't Keep Them Away
By Shelby Hodge //
Even torrential rains could not dissuade determined home-seekers and real estate agents from splashing through the puddles to attend the John Daugherty Realtors Spring Soirée open house at this massive home at 12014 Tall Oaks in Memorial.
Valets running with umbrellas, guests donning wellies and everyone displaying spirits high, the weather be damned, added an extra burst of energy to the evening that saw a sophisticated flock sweep in.
Three, among the scores that attended, were most interested in the turnout — listing agent Marian Motamedi, and business partners Vanessa Sendukas and Debbie Dalton, who on this night were launching their real estate staging company, Strategic Stage and Design. The duo had dressed the 7,833-square-foot home in stylish fashion, designed to inspire consumer interest.
Guests were rewarded for their perseverance not only with the spectacular home showcase but also with yummy treats from popular Relish Restaurant & Bar (deviled eggs topped with fried chicken, included) and Moscow Mules (copper cups, of course) and Cucumber Gimlets, compliments of Simple Vodka, investor Matt Malone on hand to tell the vodka’s “vice to virtue” story, “fighting hunger one drink at a time.”
The only real down side to the rains was missing the extraordinary backyard that includes a swimming pool, putting green and ample green space for kids on the move. But there are sunny days remaining to see the home that is listed with John Daugherty for $3.7 million.
