Ingredients
Apples
- 5 green apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 oz brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinammon
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
Oat Streusel
- 2 1/2 oz brown sugar
- 2 oz all-purpose flour
- 1/8 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- 1 oz oats
- 1/2 oz salt
- 1 1/2 oz cold butter
Directions
Apples
- Preheat oven 350℉.
- Slice apples.
- Coat apples in sugar and cinnamon, then add in lemon juice.
Oat Streusel
- Cube cold butter.
- Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well with a spatula (or kitchen mixer using a paddle attachment) until mixture resembles a pea-size crumb.
Assembly and Bake
- Scoop about 4 oz of apple into a buttered baking dish.
- Top with streusel mix.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown
