The Woodlands’ Own Bar Bludorn Sets Its Much Anticipated Opening Date, Reveals New Menu Hints
The Waterway Gets a Signature Dining Spot With Michelin Cred
The Woodlands’ much anticipated new Bar Bludorn restaurant will open on The Waterway on September 26. This will be Bludorn Hospitality Group’s first restaurant outside of Houston and the first expansion of Bar Bludorn, the neighborhood tavern restaurant that opened in Memorial in 2024.
“Expanding beyond Central Houston is a big step for us, and Howard Hughes Communities has been a great partner to take it with,” chef Aaron Bludorn says in a statement. “We are excited to introduce a menu and experience that reflects The Woodlands while still delivering the same Houston-inspired hospitality our guests know from Bar Bludorn in Memorial.”
Bar Bludorn The Woodlands is building on the spirit of its original Houston location while offering a distinctive take on the menu and new additions. These include a private dining room and outdoor patio seating. Diners can expect Bar Bludorn signatures alongside new dishes from chef Aaron Bludorn, inspired by American bistro dining and infused with Texas touches.
Attendees at the 2026 Taste of the Town got a sneak peek of the Bar Bludorn The Woodlands’ menu when Aaron Bludorn and Cherif Mbodji participated in the VIP area for The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce’s annual event.
Bar Bludorn’s Woodlands space, designed by Gensler, channels the same warm, welcoming character of the original Bar Bludorn restaurant while trying to establish its own sense of identity for The Woodlands. Bar Bludorn takes over the prime space on The Woodlands Waterway that used to be home to Baker Street Bar and Pub, which closed in March of 2024.
Baker Street, an original tenant of The Waterway, enjoyed an 18 year run.

Bar Bludorn The Woodlands joins Bludorn Hospitality Group’s Texas staple of restaurants dreamed up by chef Aaron Bludorn alongside partners Cherif Mbodji and Victoria Pappas Bludorn (the chef’s wife). The trio operates a growing portfolio of restaurants with the flagship restaurant Bludorn, Navy Blue, Bar Bludorn (times two now) and Perseid in Montrose’s Hotel Saint Augustine. A new San Antonio restaurant is also on the way with the Bludorn team taking over the historic Liberty Saloon building in the popular Pearl mixed-use development.
But first The Woodlands takes the spotlight with one of its more high-profile restaurant openings, one coming from a chef who’s been Michelin recognized.
