James Beard’s Celebrity Chefs Come Together in Houston for an Unforgettable Night
By Jailyn Marcel //
Houstonians don’t have to travel to New York for award-winning fare. The James Beard Celebrity Chef Tour hits Houston this month, bringing together awarded Houston-based chefs for an evening of culinary excellence. The chef tour is a national program that was created to extend the renowned James Beard House (located in New York City) dining experience to cities across the country.
Featured chefs include executive chef Maurizio Ferrarese (Quattro), James Beard Award Winner Robert Del Grande (Bar Annie and RDG), Manabu Horiuchi (Kata Robata), and Hugo Ortega (Backstreet Cafe, Caracol, Hugo’s).
The night will commence with a reception, followed by dinner and an after party in the Four Seasons Lobby Lounge. Guests can enter a raffle for prizes and have fun in the celebrity chef photo booth.
