New Grab-and-Go Restaurant Brings Major Chef and Coffee Power to the Design District
This is Anything But Boring Fast Food
By Caroline Hogan //
Headington Companies has achieved its Dallas Design District restaurant trifecta with the recent opening of Go Go.
Adjacent to Wheelhouse and Sassetta — the respective gastropub and Italian cafe Headington opened last year — Go Go, so perfectly named, focuses on grab-and-go fare and lives by the motto, “Go On, Get Outta Here.”
Open from 7 am to 10 pm daily, the new hotspot has menus from Headington’s culinary duo Brian Zenner and Michael Sindoni: breakfast tacos, pastries, granola and yogurt, Sassetta’s avocado toast, pre-packaged salads and sandwiches and lasagna from Headington’s new downtown Dallas bakery Commissary.
As for the java, baristas can whip up all types of espresso drinks with Counter Culture Coffee and Dude, Sweet Chocolate.
If you have a few minutes to spare, pull into one of Go-Go’s 10-minute parking spots (or take advantage of complimentary valet), grab a seat at the marble countertop, and order a scoop — or a pint, if you wish — of gelato, available in flavors like Sicilian pistachio, salted caramel and saffron rose.
Go Go’s app also simplifies the ordering process: Pick up your order now, or set a time to come grab it later.
Go Go, 1617 Hi Line Dr., 214.307.5695.
