A Cedar Springs hotspot is hatching new plans: Street’s Fine Chicken will open a second Dallas restaurant this summer at Forest Lane and Inwood Road.
Although this eatery will specialize in to-go orders as a fast-casual version of the original, Street’s classic Southern comfort foods with a French twist will remain. The restaurant features a menu culled from secret family recipes, every dish crafted with fresh local ingredients.
“The Dallas market has really embraced the fast-casual model,” says Marco Street, owner of Street’s Fine Chicken, “and we think it’s here to stay.”
Popular items include the Sin Killer, a flame-grilled chicken marinated in olive oil, agave nectar, orange peel, lime juice, garlic, cilantro, onion, and Peri Peri peppers; the Fried Chicken, brined and fried in herbs sourced from various French provinces; the Roasted & Toasted Chicken, with juicy insides and crispy skin; and the Chicken Fried Steak, griddled and topped with creamy gravy.
Or, if you’re ever feeling really hungry: Spatchcock-style whole chickens (where the backbone is removed before cooking) will also be available.
