Dallas Fast-Casual Restaurant Grows Into a Mini Chain
Easy Healthy Food is a Real Thing

Healthy all-day spot Unleavened Fresh Kitchen is on the rise. The restaurant announced that it will open three new locations across the Dallas metroplex within the next year. The first outpost will be at Southlake Town Center, opening this fall. The new location will be located at 250 State Street, right across from the town hall in Southlake Town Square.
Owners Tom Dynan and Scott Piland first debuted Unleavened in September 2015 at 1900 Abrams Parkway in Dallas. The restaurant is known for its made-from-scratch eats, which are perfect for health-conscious diners and those with dietary restrictions. It serves a unique breakfast menu with wraps and hashes, and a selection of salads, wraps and dips at lunch and dinner.
Unleavened has both a Kid’s Happy Hour — anyone 12 and under eats free after 4 pm — and beer and wine for adults dealing with kids (or just relaxing). The suddenly growing fast-casual chain features counter ordering and plenty of options. It starts its expansion in Southlake.
“Southlake Town Square is a unique destination in Southlake that offers something for everyone,” Piland said in a statement. “It’s an exceptional spot for our second opening.
“We believe folks in Texas are increasingly looking for food that makes them truly feel good and we’re confident Unleavened will be a welcome addition to the Town Square and the Southlake community overall.”
The exact opening date of the Southlake location, and the location of the next two outposts have yet to be revealed.
