Monumental British Artist Unveils Something New at the Nasher

Who: Nasher Sculpture Center director Jeremy Strick; chief curator Jed Morse; art enthusiasts Sherri Owens, Tom Orr, Richard Patterson, George and Julie Tobolowsky, and Jenny Mullen.
PC Moment: Members of the Nasher squeezed into the room where British artist Phyllida Barlow unveiled her monumental installations, which are comprised of timber, paint, plaster and wood (to name but a few). She had hopped the pond to present her latest exhibition and thrilled patrons by sharing the inspiration behind each piece.
The “Tryst” exhibition will be on view through Sunday, August 30, 2015.
