Boots & Bubbles Announces Late Fall Opening, Emilia’s To Host Clase Azul Tequila Dinner, and More Fort Worth Restaurant News

The Latest Buzzy Developments Shaping Cowtown’s Dining Scene

By //

Summer 2026 brought the Swedish candy craze to Fort Worth, along with news of a new executive chef at Emilia’s and other notable developments. That may only have been an amuse-bouche, though, for what’s in store for diners this fall as we follow the upcoming openings of Beverly’s Downtown and Madrone, along with Piattello Italian Kitchen’s relocation to The Shops at Clearfork.

In the meantime, we have fresh details on a sparkling wine concept coming to the Stockyards and other buzzy developments.

Boots and Bubbles to Open Late Fall in the Stockyards

When life gives you a reason to celebrate, nothing quite marks the occasion like a flute of sparkling wine. Late this fall, Boots and Bubbles will offer a lively and spacious venue in the Stockyards to kick back with friends before or after a night out on the town.

Co-owners Frank and Denna Enriquez — both longtime regulars in the historic Northside district — watched the Stockyards become an increasingly popular destination for bachelorette trips and girls’ weekends but noticed few spaces catering to women beyond Sidesaddle Saloon and Cowtown Winery.

“We thought a feminine-forward vibe would do well in the Stockyards,” Frank tells PaperCity, emphasizing that Boots and Bubbles will welcome everyone. “The feedback and the momentum have been really positive. We think there’s nothing like it in the Stockyards, nothing like it in DFW or Texas, and probably nothing like it in the U.S.”

Boots and Bubbles is taking over 2517 Rodeo Plaza, directly across from Billy Bob’s Texas and next door to Los Vaqueros. The Western glam interior will feature a large central bar with 22 seats, lounge areas, a dedicated dance floor and stage, two 16-foot trees with built-in seating, and plenty of Instagrammable moments throughout. The bar program will center on premium spirits and a variety of sparkling wines, along with a streamlined food menu.

Denna says area business owners have been incredibly helpful and welcoming as they prepare to open. She adds that Boots and Bubbles will be well-suited for large events. The couple’s focus will be on ambiance, exceptional food and drinks, and hospitality.

Eager for a taste of the Boots and Bubbles experience? Frank and Denna will have a champagne cart serving Fashion Week Stockyards Style fans on October 3. You know we’ll be there.

The Crescent Hotel Fort Worth to Feature Clase Azul Spirits

If you haven’t had Clase Azul’s tequilas and mezcals, you’ve certainly noticed their hand-painted decanters. The high-end spirits house is known for its rich, varied, and spirited expressions of Mexican culture.

On Wednesday, September 23, The Crescent Hotel Fort Worth will host a four-course dinner pairing culinary creations from Emilia’s new executive chef Sean Malek with Clase Azul Tequila Gold, Reposado, Añejo, and Mezcal Guerrero.

Malek tells PaperCity that the break from traditional wine pairings was purposeful, given the range of flavors offered by agave spirits.

“Tequila was an exciting choice for this dinner because we wanted to showcase its versatility at the table and approach the pairings with the same thoughtfulness we would bring to wine. The different Clase Azul expressions offer a range of flavors and characteristics that work naturally with the menu, from the freshness and acidity of the scallop crudo to the smoke, chile, and agave in the New York strip.”

Ultimately, he adds, the three-hour ticketed dinner in Emilia’s strikingly beautiful Blue Room demonstrates just how naturally agave spirits can complement refined cuisine across an entire meal.

Hudson House Sets Its Southlake Debut

With nearly a dozen locations throughout North Texas, Hudson House has achieved what few restaurant brands manage to pull off — making signature dishes, polished service, and a lively atmosphere feel consistent and effortless across all outposts. Perhaps the prior openings were something of a rehearsal for the big unveiling in Southlake, where Hudson House opens September 14 with a nearly 5,000-square-foot restaurant centered around a wraparound bar, spacious sit-down raw bar, and outdoor patio.

“Hudson House has exploded because we have remained disciplined about where and how we expand it,” Vandelay Companies founder Hunter Pond says in a release. “Southlake has the combination of energy, growth, and appreciation for hospitality that we look for when entering a new neighborhood. Our goal is never simply to add another location. We want every Hudson House to feel rooted in its community from the moment it opens and to become the kind of restaurant guests return to week after week.”

Southlakers, you’ll be missed at our Arlington Heights location, but we’re glad you now have a Hudson House in your own neighborhood to call home.
