PC Moment: With Arts Month in full swing, longtime supporters of the Dallas Museum of Art kicked off its upcoming Art Ball (which takes place next Saturday, April 21) with a fashionable patron party.
The cocktail hour was a flurry of esteemed colleagues and museum benefactors chatting all things art in the new $250 million HALL Residences high-rise in the Dallas Arts District.
Guests enjoyed wine from HALL Arts developer Craig Hall and wife Kathryn Hall’s own Hall Vineyards, and sampled hors d’oeuvres including Musumé sushi and bites from Flora Street Cafe and the newly opened craft kitchen The Artisan.
“We are truly thankful for all the support we receive from our patrons year after year, and this event was to celebrate them,” 2018 Art Ball chair Rebecca Enloe Fletcher says. “These individuals and businesses help the Dallas Museum of Art remain one of the premiere museums in the nation.”
The Dallas Museum of Art houses close to 24,000 works that span across a time range of nearly 5,000 years. Proceeds from the Art Ball gala have supported free public access to the museum’s collections, exhibitions and educational programs.
