What: Bumble BFF lunch and shopping event
Where: Kimberly Schlegel Whitman’s Dallas home
PC Moment: Amid all the buzz surrounding Bumble (pun intended), its CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd and Dallas-based lifestyle expert Kimberly Schlegel Whitman hosted a coterie of chic ladies who lunch in celebration of Bumble BFF — the portion of the app that allows women to connect with potential new besties.
Tables were not only topped with treats from Highland Park Village’s Bird Bakery (mini cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies, finger sandwiches, et. al) but also luxury jewels from Marlo Laz Fine Jewelry. Guests then perused racks of ready-to-wear by designer Misha Nonoo and posed for personalized sketches drawn by Betchy Sketch.
Bumble has become the ultimate girl boss success story, with Herd‘s dating app allowing women make the first move, meet friends through Bumble BFF, and network with Bumble Bizz.
Who: Hosts Kimberly Schlegel Whitman and Whitney Wolfe Herd; designer Misha Nonoo, jeweler Jesse Marlo Lazowski, Alicia Orchard, Elizabeth Phillips, Annika Cail, Morgan Pieper, Krystal Schlegel, Meredith Land, Lizzie Duplantis Means, Maxine Trowbridge, and Shelly Rosenberg.
