Superstar Celebrity Trainer Pops Up in a Houston Target’s Parking Lot

A retail parking lot may not be the most glamorous of exercise venues, but it’s surely one of the most unconventional. For the second year in a row, Target is bringing some of the country’s most popular workout classes to Houston’s door step.

The retailer hosted an exclusive SoulCycle pop-up studio at the Galleria’s Off the Wall Gallery in January 2016 prior to the cycle sensation’s impending Houston opening — of course, the event was met with sold out crowds. This year, Target ups the ante with 12 complimentary classes hosted by celebrity fitness guru Anna Kaiser, who trains the likes of Kelly Ripa, Shakira, Karlie Kloss, and more.

The limited class schedule will showcase Kaiser’s dance-based, interval Happy Hour class in a pop-up studio stationed in the Target Houston Central parking lot. The pop-up fêtes Kaiser’s upcoming Target collection — C9 Champion Limited Edition by Anna Kaiser — which marks the first design partnership for the retailer’s in-house athleisure brand.

The 45-minute class will be offered Thursday, January 12 and Friday, January 13 with start times spanning from 7 am to 7:30 pm. Sign up for the Houston pop-up here.
