Ceron Reveals His Holiday Picks at One of the World’s Coolest Stores

Where the Hipsters Roam

BY // 11.18.17

The grown-up equivalent of the cool kids cut a hipster swath through The Webster on an evening celebrating a master of urban chic, Ceron, and spotlighting his fashion picks for the holiday season.

Lauded for its forward-thinking approach to men’s and women’s styling and considered one of the world’s coolest fashion boutiques, The Webster, a perfect fashion haunt for Ceron, is chock full of distinctive high-end clothing, shoes, accessories and jewelry for both men and women. Labels run the gamut from the familiar — Proenza Schouler, Valentino and Stella McCartney — to the more profane  including Atlein, Sacai and Attico.

Only the day before Ceron’s night out, The Webster founder Laure Hériard-Dubreuil opened a New York outpost, the Greene Street Webster in Soho’s historic district. By month’s end, all stores, including the original in Miami, should see the arrival of her ready-to-wear collection, LHD.

Discussing her collection reported, “Eventually she decided there was room at The Webster for a reasonably priced, easy-to-pack, colorful range of dresses, skirts, knits, and bodysuits, plus accessories made in collaboration with the likes of Pierre Hardy, Aurélie Bidermann, Maison Michel, Eres, and Linda Farrow.”

“This is such a great store,” Ceron said before the presentation of his picks for the season. “This is like my third closet. I mean some people have four closets. This is my third one because it is absolutely the chicest thing and because I can just pick up something really fun or something really casual or just do it.”

On this hipster evening he wore thigh-high leather boots from Vetements and a black leather jacket by Balmain.

“But for girls, oh my god, this is absolutely the best. You will love it,” he enthused. “Every single piece I think is one of the most incredible things ever. It’s like being in Paris, on the Rue Faubourg St. Honore or in Italy at the Spanish Steps or on Rodeo Drive. This is really amazing. I love these people.”

Fashionably forward: The Webster CEO Cedric Aumonier in from the mother store in Miami, Chris Goins, Lizzie Sullivan, Cathy Echols, Tatiana Massey, Tarek Bjeirmi, Taylor Hudgens, Sydney Brooks, Javier Rodrigues, Erica and Benjy Levit, Marnie Greenwood, Vicki Rizzo and Mary Beth Aspromonte.
