Ceron Plays Santa in a Tough Week for Houston
And the Party People Can’t Get Enough
By Shelby Hodge //
“We need a little Christmas, right this very minute!” It could have been the theme song for the holiday fête that Ceron and The Webster tossed last week. Sandwiched between the funeral services for President George H.W. Bush and the memorial for Houston Texans owner Bob McNair, this bit of levity was a welcome antidote to the citywide blues.
And who better to lift the spirits than Houston’s premier stylist, sweetheart and admitted fashionista?
Ceron, decked out in Gucci and accessorized with Balenciaga Triple S sneakers, cut a jolly swath through the clutch of cool kids. (The oversized multi-material sneakers with quilted effects are so popular that the Balenciaga website is sold out.) With champagne flutes in hand, guests perused the holiday fashions from Dior, Saint Laurent, Gucci, Balenciaga and LHD, Webster founder Laure Heriard-Dubreuil’s line.
But not all was frivolity. The stylist took time to introduce the group to L.I.F.E. Houston, which provides babies in need with food and formula, a cause near and dear to his heart.
Party peeps: Melissa Mithoff, Courtney Hopson, Vivian Wise, Matt Johns, Roz and Alan Pactor, Sarah Jawda, Saba Jawda, Diane Lokey Farb, Gracie Cavnar, Kathi and Bill Rovere, Sergio Morales, Taylor Hudgins, Alyssa Huff, Amber Coffman, Megan Scott, and Candace Elliot.
