Who: Celebrity chef Grant Achatz; featured performer Charlie Siem; hosts Cindy and Howard Rachofsky; DMA interim director Walter Elcock and wife Laura; cool kids at the table Ceron, Todd Fiscus, Lindsey and Patrick Collins, Sébastien Vitry, Brad Kelly, Nancy Dedman, Jennifer and John Eagle, Rajan Patel, and Jan Showers and Jim Showers.
PC Moment: It was a celebration of champagne, food and music as the three worlds came together for one serendipitous evening at the Rachofsky House. The well-heeled crowd enjoyed a decadent menu prepped by chef Grant Achatz of the Chicago-based Alinea, while vintages from Krug Champagne were poured perfectly for each dish. Famed violinist Charlie Siem provided musical pairings to go with the sumptuous courses, leaving guests in quite the euphoric state.
