What: Crime Stoppers at The Webster
Where: The high-style Webster boutique at the Galleria
PC moment: The Webster founder Laure Hériard Dubreuil swept into Houston from her New York/Miami digs for an evening embracing the varied activities of Crime Stoppers. The boutique founder is a global ambassador for for Mothers2Mothers, the international nonprofit dedicated to preventing mother-to-child transmission of HIV by providing education and support for pregnant women and new mothers living with HIV.
During the shopping/cocktail event with its serious message, Hériard Dubreuil was interviewed by Crime Stoppers executive director Rania Mankarious and Crime Stoppers board member Donae Chramosta, aka The Vintage Contessa. The duo teamed up earlier this fall to launch a Crime Stoppers-influenced podcast called Styling Social Justice, the premise being that women of fashion are also women with public interest in their hearts and the power to make positive changes.
