What: Etro Autumn Winter 2017/18 Runway Collection preview party
Where: The swanky Highland Park Village boutique, Etro
PC Moment: Famed Veronica Etro and style-setter Jessica Nowitzki hosted a coterie of chic friends to an exclusive preview of the iconic fashion house’s new Autumn Winter 2017/18 runway collection. Pieces from the collection were flown in especially for the occasion, so naturally the ladies of Highland Park came running to check things out.
A kaleidoscopic wonder of paisley — cobalt blues, acid yellows, oranges, and fuchsias — helped add colorful pops to tweed skirts, cashmere scarves, and jacquard fabric totes on display. And, don’t even get us started on the prints. Leopard for days, ladies! Just enough to give you the fierce look that’s so in right meow. Etro’s latest collection is vibrant, colorful, and, per usual, lives up to the brand’s wow-factor.
Perusing in the latest trends, some shoppers took time out to sample the savory bites from Lombardi Family Concepts, while others could be found perched near the DJ booth, where party girl Lucy Wrubel (donning a killer Etro frock and her signature sky-high pumps) spun energetic beats to go with the mood.
Benevolent bonus: Etro donated 10 percent of sales from the evening’s festivities to UNICEF.
Who: Etro’s Alessandra Tirolo and Marco Pievani; Anna Wik, Susan Posnick, Capera Ryan, Emily Lunstroth, Heather Anderson, Cathy Williamson, Marisa Howard, Kari McDonald, Kara Howard, Lisa Moore, Nancy Gopez, Melinda Knowles, and Joshua Rossignol.
