What: National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month Kickoff Party, benefitting the Susan Poorman Blackie Ovarian Cancer Foundation (SPB).

Where: Tootsies.

Who: Chair/ovarian cancer survivor and author Megan Silianoff, Manoosh’s Anna Wilson and Marilyn Biles, Agate Ranch + Marfa’s Kathy Bracewell, SPB’s executive director Buck Dodson, Tootsies’ Fady Armanious and Shelley Taylor Ludwick; chic supporters Candace Thomas, Chandra Bonine, and Linze Green.

PC Moment: Silianoff signed copies of her memoir 99 Problems But a baby Ain’t One while fashion illustrator Rongrong DeVoe live-sketched guests wearing their new teal (the symbolic ovarian cancer color) Susan scarves designed by Manoosh in collaboration with SPB. Supporters enjoyed sips and bites by B&B Butchers & Restaurant as they shopped the hottest fall fashions and jewelry by Agate Ranch + Marfa.
