PC Moment: The two-day Elizabeth Toon Charities Concert and Shootout was a wild success for dedicated families, friends, and backers of the organization, which supports needy Texas children and families. Talk about country star power.
The concert, which featured headliner Jack Ingram and Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Bonnie Bishop, was ovation-worthy to be sure.
The shootout, which took place the following day, was also one for the record-books. A staggering 80 teams assembled at The Dallas Gun Club for the tournament — and the bottom line results are impressive. In its 11-year history, the event has now raised a cool $5 million. Carrie Rowling, co-executive director of Elizabeth Toon Charities, praised the event’s longtime partners, from Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated to Lincoln Property Company to Sewell Automotive Companies, Incorporated.
