What: Patek Philippe at de Boulle Grand Opening.
Where: De Boulle in River Oaks District.
Who: Patek Philippe president Larry Pettinelli; de Boulle owners Karen and Denis Boulle, in from Dallas, with son Nick Boulle, daughter Emma Boulle, and president Jeff Bartley; River Oaks District’s Colin Moussa; guests Martha Turner and Glenn Bauguss, Gracie and Bob Cavnar, Lindley and Jason Arnoldy, Erin Florescu, and Karen Payne.
PC Moment: De Boulle, the independent jeweler known for its diamonds, estate jewelery and high-end timepieces, gave watch enthusiasts a big reason to celebrate — Houston is now home to one of the most extensive collections of celebrated watchmaker Patek Philippe in North America. Festivities kicked off with a private cocktail party in the glittering boutique, as collectors admired and shopped the exquisite watches. The 200 guests were then treated to an after-party in an exclusive Patek Philippe Lounge constructed by Todd events, featuring dinner by A Fare Extraordinaire and dancing to beats by DJ Lucy Wrubel. A skilled watchmaker from Patek Philippe’s extremely elite program demonstrated watchmaking for horophiles and novices.
