PC Moment: Napa Valley’s most fashionable crowd gathered to celebrate the opening of Forty Five Ten’s new store in Yountville, California, last Thursday. Forty Five Ten president and co-founder Brian Bolke hosted the bash with the help of designer and event planner Ken Fulk, philanthropist and arts patron Cindy Rachofsky, and interior designer and author Jay Jeffers.
Guests got a preview of the charming 865-square-foot boutique and its goods during cocktail hour. Fashion designer Adam Lippes was in attendance, along with actress and model Jodi Lyn O’Keefe, Vintner’s Daughter founder April Gargiulo, restaurateur Thomas Keller, Laura Cunningham, Karen and Frank Altumura, and many more.
Bolke raised a glass to the opening of Forty Five Ten’s first location outside of Texas while guests enjoyed light bites from nearby restaurant Bouchon, wine by Frank Altumura and the legendary “Cindy’s Margarita,” made with Casa Dragones Blanco tequila and named after Rachofsky.
After cocktail hour, Cindy Rachofsky hosted a small VIP dinner at her Napa Valley home. A rustic-chic barn was decked out with twinkling lights, modern tablescapes, and understated florals for the occasion. Thomas Keller’s Ad Hoc catered the dinner with summery dishes such as TFL Garden Tomato Salad, Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Grilled Branzino and K+M Chocolate Pudding.
Ten percent of the evening’s sales benefited the Bay Area Legal Aid, which provides free bilingual legal assistance to seniors, immigrants, and low-income residents of the Bay Area.
