The night after the Houston Chronicle introduced its 2017 Best Dressed honorees, A Couture Cause unveiled its 2017 stylistas, featured in the fourth annual Trend Guide.
For the cocktail attire evening at Life HTX, more than 250 chic young professionals gathered to salute the fashion stars and raise funds for the Youth Hope Association and the Amschwand Sarcoma Cancer Foundation. And what a gathering it was with sophisticated guests parting with $75 for a glass of Perrier-Jouet champagne, every penny of which went to the nonprofits as did tickets sales, which entitled guests to a copy of the hardcover Trend Guide.
The 25 ladies, modeling head-to-toe fashions from the city’s hippest boutiques, are featured in the guide along with Trend Guide founders photographer Traci Ling and blogger Lyndsey Zorich, Trend Guide chairs and bloggers Sara Cooper and Candace Thomas, and launch party chairs Stephanie Fleck and Neekie Kashani — all photographed in fashions from Tootsies, a major sponsor of the project.
Featured in the guide and stepping out on this night were trendsetters Jett S. Petit, Alexandra Knight, Brandy Gueary, Valerie Dieterich, Melissa Juneau, Heidi Kashani, Sarah Gruber, Mary Patton, Esther Freedman, Taryn Proler, Annie McQueen, Neekie Kashani, Casey Charles, Brittany Steitz,
Julie Thomas, Laura Weaver, Jordan Jones, Dr. Vanitha Pothuri, Donae Chramosta with daughter Bella, Ailee Petrovic, Pam Bryan, a charmingly pregnant Rachel Conkling, Kalie Sanders, Liz Mayberry, and Erin Stewart.
Boutiques supporting the event and providing fashions for the ladies included Vintage Contessa, Abejas, Atrium, Monkees, Cakewalk, Baanou, Muse, Whim, Brooke Feather, Eyebar, Mirth Caftans and à Bienôt.
Seen: Life HTX owners Monsour Taghdisi and Henry Richardson; plus Tracy Dieterich, Jen Beckelman, Courtney Stephens, Katie Scroggins, Kathleen and James Jennings, Catherine Governale, Brad Juneau, Pamela Bryan, Holly Alvis, Carolyn Knapp, Sal Montes, and Kathy and David DiPuma.
