PC Moment: Imagine the anticipation, and the nerves, as a posse of young professionals, members of Trees for Houston’s young professional group, circled their wagons at the popular Midtown backyard patio and bar for an auction among their own.
Would it be Paige Myrick, Opera in the Heights executive director, or entrepreneur Andrew Parks who would draw the highest bid for a night out on the town? Emcee Producer Eric of 104.1 KRBE kept the bidding in high gear. A handful of eligible bachelors and bachelorettes were auctioned off along with date packages that included such romantic/thrilling opportunities as floor seats at a Houston Rockets game and dinner a Emmaline.
The brave ones putting themselves up for auction included Evan Peterson, development director at Random Capital; Mike Ladson, product specialist at eDepoze; Maria Shields, dermatological sales representative at Nestlé Skin Health; Chris Spradley, craft account manager at Statellite Logistics Group; Jessica Nguyen, logistics; Nanci Gomez, a senior administrative assistant; and University of St. Thomas students Ana Navas and Ragad Nawwab.
