PC Moment: The celebration of all things Houston focused primarily on the Astros World Series win with plenty the 200 young professionals donning jerseys of their fave players. Setting the playful mood was the Orange Show’s Brünnehilde art car which was in the lead of the Astros’ World Series parade. But these true blue Houstonians also displayed their sports loyalty in Houston Texans, Houston Rockets and even Luv Ya Blue Houston Oilers jerseys and T-shirts.
In the driver’s seat on this al fresco evening that raised close to $19,000 were chairs Emily Anderson, Stacy Leonard, Nick Scurfield and Mitch Zlotnik. They rounded up a smorgasbord of party fuel with input from 11 popular eateries including La Mexicana, Raising Cane’s, Butter & Company Catering and Willow’s Texas BBQ. And then there were the adult libations and Astros-inspired cocktails for fueling even more fun — Bayou Rum, Deep Eddy Vodka, ROXOR Gin, Saint Arnold Brewing Company’s brewskis and TX Whiskey.
The party action included playful networking, dancing to the sounds of DJ Mav and bidding on silent auction packages.
