German Luxury Store Splashes Down in Dallas
Brand Caters to Design Savvy Millennials

After opening its first Texas boutique in Houston two years ago, German-born luxury goods label MCM recently debuted its second in Dallas at NorthPark Center.
Founded in the late 1970s, MCM (an acronym for Modern Creation München) fuses classic design techniques with futuristic materials, intertwining the two to cater to a very modern audience of digital savvy, creative millennials.
MCM’s offerings pop against the neutral palette of the Dallas store, which also features gray stone floors, custom lighting, warm brass tones, and gold metallic accents.
The NorthPark boutique stocks the full run of MCM accessories for men and women, including bags, purses, backpacks, wallets, purses, travel wear, sunglasses, and belts.
Among the items perfect for the contemporary traveler possessing both sophisticated taste and an edgy sensibility: MCM’s Stark backpack (available with colorful patches à la those found on race car driver uniforms, in camo print, emblazoned with a rabbit motif, and more) and the brand’s lambskin leather Killian messenger bag for men.
“This vibrant diverse city attracts people from all over the world,” says MCM the Americas president Patrick J. Valeo III, “and we look forward to catering to our global nomad customer that knows us, while also introducing the MCM lifestyle to new clients in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.”
MCM, NorthPark Center, 469.917.0990.
