Houston Power Couple Cannot Do Enough For This Cause
When a Promise Means Everything
By Shelby Hodge //
What: JDRF Houston Gulf Coast Chapter Promise Ball kickoff
Where: The home of Linda and Bob Brown
PC Moment: In an unusual turn of events, it was the Promise Ball honorees, the Browns, who opened their home for the launch party that played off of the gala theme of “Through the Looking Glass.” The April 21 black-tie evening will take place in the Texas Ballroom of the Marriott Marquis. Sendero Midstream will be recognized as corporate honoree. So committed to the cause the Browns will serve as presenting sponsors along with Hagans Montgomery & Rustay, P.C.
In an added twist for 2018, after dinner and dance tunes provided by Skyrocket, the ball will feature late-night casino games, sponsored by Liskow & Lewis as well as the Young Leadership Committee after-party, which will include a champagne reception and open bar.
Charity and John Todd, who cohosted the party, will lead the charge as gala chairs.
Who: JDRF executive Rick Byrd, Alexandra and Michael Golemi, Liz Vittor, Amber and Clay Bretches, Kellie and Randy Johnson, Pam and Mark Carmain, Kylie and Pat Cooney, Rebecca and Jordan and Brian Amis.
