PC Moment: The sellout crowd of 1,400 came prepared to party at the “Fun, Fierce and Fabulous” gathering honoring five women who have distinguished themselves in volunteering for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Taking bows in their rodeo splendor were Alicia (Pearl) Jimerson-Knox, Stacy Stidham Anderson, Amy Pinkham Miller, R. Linda Alonzo-Saenz, and Laura Salinas-Pruneda. Receiving their share of applause were Wendy Vandeventer, committee officer in charge, and luncheon chair Gretchen Gilliam.
Saks Fifth Avenue presented a show of the best of 2017, interspersed with the latest looks is rodeo-friendly denim, leather and fringe. Rodeo royalty turned out in force including board chair Jack Lyons, president and CEO Joe Cowley.
